Steve's entrepreneurial, or some say pig headed spirit drove him to establish Lucent Financial Planning in 2009, armed with a hot desk and an unwavering commitment to his clients – that he didn’t have. But, was determined to find!

Steve's innovative thinking has propelled, some may argue held back, Lucent Financial Planning to remarkable heights despite external scepticism. The firm now boasts a dedicated team of twelve, including 3 advisers trained from scratch. Under Steve's guidance, Lucent manages a portfolio of £150 million and serves over 200 clients. 

Beyond the numbers, Steve's true passion lies in transforming lives. Steve's commitment to holistic well-being and being cuddly, led him to collaborate with a psychologist, in order to, enrich clients' lives by addressing their mental health needs.

Steve's vision extends beyond financial planning as the numbers are easy. The hardest part is helping people and so it encompasses community building. Lucent’s pioneering walking club, history tours, and an exclusive online platform, Ubuntu, to foster connections and support among clients.
